This class will focus on oral practice and daily conversations in Chinese Mandarin for beginners. 

The students will learn the Hanyu Pinyin (Chinese Phonetic System) and use Hanyu Pinyin to practice daily conversations and recognize some simplified Chinese characters. We will play a lot of games to reinforce the learning.  Homework (conversation practice) is required. 

The following topics will be covered. Greetings, names, nationalities, school, family, home, dates, fruit, school supplies, food, …etc.
