Rates:

1.      Registration fee: there is a non-refundable registration fee of  $35/child  per school year for processing the paperwork required for enrollment and re-enrollment.

Tuesday : Mozart in Action (Group Piano Lesson)

Young Mozart class Level 1: 
Quarter 3: April 10 to June 19, 2012 (11 lessons)

  • For ages 5-6
  • Class size: up to 5
  • Classes are delivered in English. 
  • This is a class for beginners.
  • There is a 20 minutes of music theory and activity time as a group in the beginning of each class, then each student works on a keyboard with the instructor's help for 40 minutes.
  • There are 2 recitals a year. One is in December, the other one is in early June. Students will play on an acoustic YAMAHA piano individually (not in a group).
  • Students of this age are introduced to keyboard playing, ear training, organized development of pitch, rhythm, and music theory in a fun group setting.  Parents should monitor student's progress, and supervise the practice at home.
  • Parents do NOT need to stay. But parent involvement at home is required.

  • Integrates with Math-U-See manipulatives; We also use different kinds of manipulatives to teach subjects such as money, time, measurement, place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, percents ...etc.

  • Good for kids with any kinds of learning styles.

  • Parents are responsible to purchase books before class starts.

  • Small group (up to 6 kids);  Classes are delivered in English.

Wednesday : Chinese (Mandarin) Fun!  (5-7 years old)

Quarter 3: April 11 to June 20, 2012 (11 classes)

  • This class is designed for kindergarteners and early primary school students who start to learn Chinese as beginners. This class will introduce students to the Chinese language and its culture.
  • This class is designed to engage students through fun games, activities, and songs. Students learn this new language through games, singing and movement. 
  • Students will learn to sing some popular English children's songs bilingually (in English & Mandarin), learn to recognize and write Chinese characters, and communicate in simple conversations in Mandarin. 
  • After completing the 3 year series of Chinese Fun! class, students will advance to a more formal Chinese class (for ages 8-10) that teaches Chinese reading, writing, and  conversation.
  • We teach Hanyu pinyin (Chinese phonetic system) and Simplified Chinese that is used in China.
  • Parents are responsible to purchase books before the class starts.
  • Classes are delivered bilingually (in Chinese Mandarin & English).

PRICES SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITH 2 WEEKS NOTICE

After school care begins the first day children attend school in September, and ends on the last day children attend school in June.
Services in school breaks and summer depend on the needs of parents.

J The first four weeks in our program is a trial period. During this time, either parents or the provider may terminate our agreement/contract immediately without written notice.

 

* For Kindergarteners: We only take Kindergarteners who attend the full day program from their neighborhood elementary school.
 
         
** After school program: Tuition and co-payment are due in advance on the first day of each month. 


The 4 weeks trial period payment is due in advance at the time of registration. The following months payments are due in advance on the first day of each month.
 

  • If the contract is terminated during the trial period due to the client's will, the client will pay $9/hour for the service provided, pay for any early drop-off fee or late pick-up fee charged to the client, and get refund for the amount left.

  • If the contract is terminated during the trial period due to the provider's will, the client will pay a prorated rate for the service provided and any early drop-off fee or late pick-up fee charged to the client, and get refund for the amount left.

Two week deposit is due on the time of registration. It will be applied to the last two weeks of care.


 

 
  Tuition and co-payment are not reduced for months/weeks that have school breaks, holidays or LEAP (Learning Enhancement Academic Planning) days.
 
 
 *** Enrichment program: Tuition is not reduced for months/weeks that have school breaks, holidays or LEAP (Learning Enhancement Academic Planning) days.   Tuition for enrichment programs do not include materials fees. Parents are responsible to order the books before class starts.   The payment is due in advance on the first day of the month.
