Learning Horizon Child Care--Summer Camps

2008 Winter Break Camps

*	*Price includes lunch, morning snack, and afternoon snack.*
	Please have your child finish breakfast before coming.
	We'll have at least one field trip each week. When there is a field trip on the day, a permission slip will need to be signed before the trip. Parents will pay for the admission fees for field trips if applicable. If parents decide not to let their children attend the field trip, it’s the parents’ responsibility to find a child care for that day.
**	We are closed on 12/25, 12/26, and 1/1.

- Daily Schedule -

8:00-9:30 am	Arrival & Free play
9:30-10:15 am	Math Time (Children who has been enrolled in our Singapore Math class will keep working on their Singapore Math. Children who are not currently in our Math program will do the workbooks that their parents provide. Classes will be delivered in English)
10:15-11:15 am	Snack & Play time
11:15am-12:00 pm	Reading Comprehension Time (Due to the requests from parents whose children are going to take the assessment test for gifted program in January, instead of teaching Chinese Level 1 we are going to do Reading Comprehension Practice in this hour. Classes will be delivered in English.)
12:00pm-1:00pm	Lunch
1:00 -2:00 pm	Quiet Time & Rest Time
2:00-2:45pm	Critical Thinking & Math Reasoning (Due to the requests from parents whose children are going to take the assessment test for gifted program in January, instead of teaching Chinese (Mandarin) Fun!: Learn to speak Chinese in an easy way! we are going to do Critical Thinking & Math Reasoning Practice in this hour. Classes will be delivered in English.)
2:45-3:00pm	Break
3:00-3:40pm	Crafts Time
3:40-4:00pm	Snack time
4:00-5:00pm	Physical activities
5:00-6:00pm	Choice Time

Policies for winter camps:

v	Payment in full is due at the time of registration.

v	No refunds/credit will be issued for winter camps.

v	Trial period for winter camps: There are 3 days of trial period for new enrollments to our programs for winter camps. Either parents or we can terminate the care during these 3 days of trial period without written notice. If care is terminated during trial period, parents will pay $45/day for the care provided and get refund for the rest of amount.
